Caligo TRADITIONAL RELIEF INKS edition from the renowned British manufacturer Cranfield. Designed for relief printing for linocut or woodcut. Using high strength traditional Linseed formulations. Traditional inks and Safe Wash are compatible, but traditional inks needs to be washed by mineral spirit, instead of just water and soap in case of SafeWash. Proven by time and experience to provide intense results across the relief printing disciplines.
The drying process of the ink takes place in three stages: absorption of oil into the paper fibers, oxidation on the surface and polymerization of the remaining ink under the surface.
