We offer a micro-mesh grinding stone #1500/4000 on a corundum base, equivalent to F360/1000, which ranks it between Tyrolit 49C F150/320 and Tyrolit 89A SUPER (F1200, #8000). The photos of the blade are only after manual polishing so that the grooves stand out better, at the same time they should be taken with a grain of salt, as the conditions were not quite identical. For illustration, we also took a photo of the machine-polished blade and the surface treated with natural rozsutec stone.
In conclusion, just that a smooth surface of the blade is essential for comfortable use of the chisel. With grain size from F1000 (#4000), the blade is ready for manual polishing, with the proviso that the finer the stones we use, the more perfect the cutting surface and at the same time reducing the polishing effort. It should also be noted that the angle under which we conduct the grinding must be consistently maintained.
